Tastetastic Thursday 7/25

I almost forgot to do this blog post today. I was watching MasterChef and got all caught up in the prawn-y yumminess. Anyone else watch that show? I’d never consider myself good enough to compete on a show like that, but it’s sure fun to watch! I’m on Team Monti. I love her so much and totally want to hang out and drink beer with her.

Speaking of home cooks, here are the features from last week’s party:

From left to right: Mookies from The Cheapskate Cook, Double Chocolate Whole Wheat Buttermilk Scones from Pink Recipe Box, and Summer Meze from Cooking my Way Through my CSA

Who’s ready to party? The rules are simple:

  1. Please link up no more than two recipes.
  2. I’d love it if you’d follow me using the social media icons on the right sidebar.
  3. Please have a link back to me on your post. I’ll be featuring three links next week, but I can only feature you if there’s a link back.
  4. Click around, have some fun, and get inspired!
(As always, the links show up in random order. No rewards for the early birds, or punishments for those who get there a little later.)

We LOVE master chef but I have not gotten to watch this week’s episodes yet because we have been hard at work on our basement project. I like Monti but am totally on team Christine – she totally amazes me! Well they all amaze me – 6 eggs cooked 4 different ways in 30 minutes – I mean seriously! Love the show! I could go on an on about it, but I will stop and check out some of the great links 🙂 Thanks for hosting such an inspiring party!

I’m hooked on MasterChef too! I keep waffling about who I am cheering for…we all watch it, but our 5 year old and I watch it together. We were cheering for Cowboy Mike, and we are cheering for Josh and Christine, though I think Becky will take it. She seems unstoppable lately!

Thanks for hosting! I shared a recipe for a super easy Strawberry Mousse. It is egg, dairy, grain, and sugar free and suitable for GAPS and Paleo diets.

I love watching MasterChef. Last night’s episode was so good. Those Mookies and Scones look delicious. Will have to check out the recipes. There are a lot of other great dishes in the link list. Hopefully, I can find the time to make my way through them.
