Tastetastic Thursday 5/17

In two days I’ll be hitting the road with my friend Ginger and going up to Philadelphia for Bloggy Boot Camp. To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I’m really looking forward to meeting some bloggers and learning more about this little hobby of mine.

But before we go on our trip, let’s take a look at some yummies that y’all linked up last week, shall we?

One of these paired with some fruit salad and you have a complete, filling breakfast.
Homemade Granola Bars from Don’t Waste the Crumbs
Granola bars just aren’t right unless they have almonds and dried fruit.  Plus, there’s sweetened condensed milk in there…can’t go wrong!
Morning Glory Muffins from AKM Designs and Delights
Outside of blueberry, Morning Glory Muffins are my favorite.  They’re sweet and light and just delightful.
Before we get to the main event, I wanted to give you a heads up that I’ve got a giveaway tomorrow (Friday) evening, and then another one for Menu Plan Monday.  Be sure to subscribe by RSS or email so you don’t miss anything!

Who’s ready to party? The rules are simple:

  1. Please link up no more than two recipes.
  2. I’d love it if you’d follow me using the social media icons on the right sidebar (they’re new!).
  3. Please have a link back to me on your post. I’ll be featuring three links next week, but I can only feature you if there’s a link back.
  4. Click around, have some fun, and get inspired!

(As always, the links show up in random order. No rewards for the early birds, or punishments for those who get there a little later.)

    Thanks for hosting!
I shared a post about how to avoid being infected with spam. It happened to my site, and I want to share some tips so that others can help avoid being hacked. Super important stuff, so even though it isn’t a recipe, I thought it was something others bloggers should know.

Jealous! Why don’t we have any bloggy boot camps here in Canada? Stupid Canada 😉

this week I’ve linked up Part 2 of Why 3 Ways Are a Good Idea: Scratch Gnocchi in a Truffled Mixed Mushroom Frenzy with crispy sage and of course a little brown butter action 🙂

…as well as our CSA for week #12 because I got some stellar news/changes this week and just HAD to share!

Happy linky party day and thanks for hosting!

In anticipation of Summer I kind of jumped the gun a little bit and hopped on the strawberry train. Choo Choo!

This week I’ve posted an homage to a 1980’s Sweet Treat. In that cheesy 1980’s seduce-your-flight-instructor-to-the-tune-of-Take My Breath Away kind of way. Read: Dark chocolate covered strawberries with pistachios. Oh yeah.

    Hi Amy,
I linked a recipe for Apple Ginger Pancakes that are gluten free and dairy free and I topped it with a mashed banana topping.

I am so excited about Bloggy Boot camp I can’t wait!! Looking forward to meeting you..

Have fun meeting new bloggers! I just went to my first food blogger conference a couple of weeks ago, and loved it!
