Tastetastic Thursday 4/26
I just spent the past 40 minutes writing this blog post, and then Google crapped out on me and logged me out. Nothing saved. Gah!
The main thing I remember, though, was that we broke another record this past week. Again! 102 entries…I’m loving it and love you all for coming back every week and telling your friends. You rock oh so much.
Let’s get down to it. Here are a few recipes that caught my eye this week.

Grilled Nutella and Cream Cheese with Strawberries from Chocolate, Chocolate and More…
My husband thinks these would be great with banana, but I have to stand with the strawberry. I feel like the tart/sweet strawberries cut the richness of the Nutella and cream cheese. Regardless, these sound amazing.

Magic Monkey Bananas from Literally Inspired
Ginger and I sit about 3 feet from each other all day long, and we talk kid-friendly recipes a lot. But she never told me about this one until I saw it linked up. I bet my son will LOVE these.

Apple Puff Pancake from The One with the Cupcakes
I’ve made apple puff pancakes before and love them. This one looks really pretty and nice. I’m considering making it for our annual Mother’s Day brunch this year.
Who’s ready to party? The rules are simple:
- Please link up no more than two recipes.
- I’d love it if you’d follow me on Facebook and/or Google Friend Connect.
- Please have a link back to me on your post. I’ll be featuring three links next week, but I can only feature you if there’s a link back.
- Click around, have some fun, and get inspired!
(As always, the links show up in random order. No rewards for the early birds, or punishments for those who get there a little later.)
Like this post? Please click on over and leave a comment. It would make my day!

Thanks so much for doing this each week! I LOVE your blog, and enjoy finding the new recipes! So sorry about losing your post..happens to me all too frequently! ~ Bekki from Chasing Supermom =)
I hate when Google does that! Congrats on the new record and thanks for hosting!
Amy, thanks for hosting each week and thanks for featuring my grilled cheese. My kids have been begging me to make it again. Maybe I’ll give it a try with bananas but I think the strawberries really are the way to go. Have a great week!
Such yummy looking features!
Thanks for hosting this great party!
LOVE the nutella with cream cheese! Thanks for the party
Anything with Nutella rocks my world. I’ll have to try that out! =)
Thanks so much for the feature! As much as I talk about myself all day I am surprised I didn’t mention these. I am sure after awhile I just sound like “woh woh woh woh woh” <— charlie browns teacher : )
Thank you so much for hosting another party
Hope you have a great weekend
Wow so many yummy looking treats! The nutella sandwich looks AMAZING! Mmm!!!
Ohhh you have no idea how many times I have had Google NOT save something for me!! Have you tried writing drafts in Google Docs? It saves it like, as soon as you type it. it’s amazing. I started doing that for my school projects because it was getting to be a pain to write a long paper only to have it all lost. Ugh! Just a tip
Boo to Google crapping out on you!!!! That always stinks when it doesn’t save and you have to do it all over again.
Nutella is always a plus dessert!! Thanks for hosting!!!
Thanks for hosting! Have a great day!
the grilled Nutella would be a HUGE hit in our home!!

i’m as stoked about the grilled nutella and cream cheese as everyone else. i don’t let it into the house though because it just gets eaten…while everything else rots. haha…
i’ve linked to my quick recipe – smashed flat chicken with prosciutto and sage. It was moist, fast, simple, and surprisingly knocked my socks off with flavor. I don’t ordinarily make a lot of chicken because…well… it’s chicken. this was worth it though.
Thanks so much for hosting!
Yummy features! Thanks for hosting:)
I’m not linking because God help me I don’t cook much or bake, but love seeing blogs with recipes!!! By the way, I love anything with Nutella, have for years so that grilled recipe would go down a treat at this casa. I’ll keep this linky in mind when I do venture in to make something
