Weekend Spotlight #2

I love this recipe party.  It gives me such inspiration and my Pinterest boards are growing and growing from all your awesome links.

The first recipe I want to highlight this week are the Take Five Bars from Inside Bru Crew Life.  Take Five’s are my very favorite candy bar.  I feel like not many people know about it but it has the perfect combination of all my favorite sweet ingredients:  chocolate (duh), peanut butter, pretzels, and caramel.  Fantastic.  And I can’t wait to try these bars.

This Applesauce Pomegranate Cake from Katherine Martinelli is just gorgeous.  Rosh Hashanah snuck up on me this year (though I feel like I say that about every holiday) so let this count as my requisite apples and honey post.  Mmmkay?
And then if you’re on sugar overload and need something a little savory, here’s a kid-friendly meal that sounds terrific.  Pizza Puffs from Crumbs and Chaos.  Pizza that you can carry around in your pocket.  Theoretically.
