Before we get to the party, I just wanted to share a quick, easy dinner idea I made the other day. All you do is take a few portabello mushrooms, throw them in a gallon-size bag, add some soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and a dash of ground ginger. Mix it all around and let the mushrooms marinate for about 30 minutes. Grill outside or use an indoor grill. So delicious! (I have no measurements because I just threw the ingredients in there. Just eyeball it and dip your finger in there to taste it.)
(Yes, I know I have an unnatural obsession with sandwich thins. They're the bomb, what can I say.)
(And I also know that I use too many parentheses.)
